Ms. Jonak has worked on trade secret, design patent, and misappropriation of intellectual property cases. She has also teamed up with patent specialists to oversee and enforce patents, as well as defending against patent litigation. Ms. Jonak has represented large companies, public universities, and individuals. She can also handle negotiations and purchases and licensing of intellectual property.
Business Counseling
Ms. Jonak regularly counsels businesses of all sizes, and individual investors, on business matters, including partnership and shareholder disputes, angel investments, licensing matters, corporate leases, and business development. Commercial Litigation

Ms. Jonak has first and second chaired trials and has extensive experience with mediations, arbitrations, litigation in state and federal courts, and how best to posture your case for a successful result. She has been involved in cases involving over $100 million in settlements and judgments.

Ms. Jonak is extremely experienced acting as an outside general counsel for companies ranging from start-ups to large, international companies. She can help negotiate and draft licenses, supply agreements, tech transfers, strategic alliance agreements, employment agreements, NDAs, corporate resolutions, loan/investment agreements and more.
Lender Liability
It takes persistence, patience and strategic planning to bring a successful lender's liability case against a bank. Ms. Jonak and her co-counsel have litigated and settled numerous cases against some of the largest banks in the world.
Appellate Law
Ms. Jonak has successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Court of Appeals. She is also admitted to the United States Supreme Court. She can handle appeals, including oral argument, or simply help other practitioners with briefing and preparation on appellate matters.
